A Teacher’s Thoughts

I have been involved with a First Lego League team for the past two years now. We didn’t go to the competition last year, but today, we are going. This has been such a positive experience for each of the team members this year. I have seen a great deal of motivation come from these guys. Over the past six weeks, in which we have had far too little time to get ready, they have built a robot and learned how to program it. They have constructed the challenges and considered optimal ways to meet each of them. The reading, experimenting, collaboration and just pure effort involved has been good to watch. Wish us luck!
