School Technology Plan

For the past few weeks I have been part of a team trying to write a technology plan for our building. Although it is an ongoing process we have reached a point where we were able to truly begin to define our vision for technology. We have drawn on a number of resources, but most strongly the writing of Kim Cofino and Jeff Utecht. Both of these edubloggers have a wealth of great material on their sites. Jeff’s main point in the beginning of his series on school tech plans was echoed today as building reps from across our district came together to discuss a district level plan. The first step in any educational plan is to define what it is we want students to be able to do. You can check out the beginnings of our plan here:
