A Teacher’s Thoughts

I should have done this the first day of school. What a great way to get the kids up and talking to each other. I began the paper blogging lesson plan yesterday. The students are very excited about where this is heading and we have had some good discussions about online safety, appropriate comments and the differences between personal and professional use of web technologies. I am pleased with their knowledge of web safety, they seem quite savvy. Of course knowing how to be safe and appropriate and actually being safe and appropriate are two different things. Hopefully they all practice what they have indicated they know.
