A Teacher’s Thoughts

I just have to write a plug for Wikispaces.com. I have gotten so much mileage from their service in the past two years.

Whether it has been for managing my own class documents, facilitating collaborations for students or writing our school technology plan, their wikis have been the perfect solution. The sites are easy to edit, easy to navigate and easy to customize. My students found the interface intuitive, allowing us to focus on content. Teachers and my always willing administrator have also been quick to pick up and use this tool. The concept of a wiki is now being introduced across our district as a collaborative tool, one that is powerful, intuitive, effective and free to educators. I guess it was about time I put their logo in my sidebar.
